Our take on Holafly
Holafly sells the 'don't think about GB' pitch: unlimited-style travel eSIMs with a fair-use throttle and often a weak hotspot. You pay a premium to stop watching a data counter.
Our take: Holafly is the right call for heavy maps/video on one trip if you accept FUP and hotspot limits. It is the wrong call if you only need 5–10 GB — Airalo, Saily or a price scanner will be cheaper.
- We pick it when : Streaming-heavy holidays, travelers who hate topping up mid-trip.
- We skip it when : Laptop tethering is mandatory, or you want the cheapest prepaid pack.
Our Review of Holafly in 2026
Holafly has established itself as the specialist in unlimited eSIM plans. If you consume a lot of data while traveling (streaming, remote work), Holafly is probably your best choice.
✅ Holafly Pros
- Truly unlimited data: No throttling, no hidden limits
- Hotspot sharing: Tethering included on all plans
- Network quality: Partnerships with the best local operators
- Multilingual support: Customer service available in multiple languages
- Flexibility: Plans from 5 to 90 days
❌ Holafly Cons
- Higher prices than competitors
- Smaller destination catalog than Airalo
- No budget plans (minimum ~$20)
